  1. Jenny,

Great job on your article review! I really enjoyed how you discussed each of the tools and how they can benefit teachers--and students--in the classroom. I also liked your usage of subtitles throughout. Good work!

  2. I really like the idea of classroom blogs. This would also give parents the opportunity to view exactly what is going on in their child's life at school. The only problem is computer availability. Obviously not all homes have computers so all work would have to be done in school. I also thought you brought up a great point about podcasting. If things were that readily available for students would their attendance drop? That is a very interesting point and I would like to see an answer to that. My guess is that in elementary and middle schools you wouldn't have much of a problem, but in high schools you could run into that. Great video. This was put together very well.

  3. Jenny-
Great job on your movie. I liked how you highlighted some of the different tools and explained how they can be useful. I agree with your comments on age appropriateness. With younger students, some of these tools may not be appropriate.
    Great work!

  4. Nice job on your article review movie! I liked how you used the subtitles throughout to illustrate your points. It is interesting to hear of all of the uses for technology in the classroom. I liked the idea of having a classroom blog. Students could post their responses and thoughts and they would be more motivated to work hard on their responses because it will be viewed by all their peers. I know that certainly would have been motivational for me in middle and high school! Educators can also post their comments. I never thought about the fact that districts must decide if they need to unblock certain websites for technology purposes and uses. That is an interesting point.

  5. Jenny- Excellent job on your video. I really enjoyed the your information about why technology is important in schools. We do have the difficulties you mentioned with a tech person who believes that certain websites should not be allowed. Her feelings are that students wouldn't utilize time wisely if we unblocked them. I know sometimes she is right. But that would be a classroom management situation.
